- Your gift will help ensure that we have the funds to:•Pay for the important school partnerships that engage and support our scholars like America SCORES, Apprentice Learning, and Boston Debate League.•Fund part of our school’s social worker position through The Home for Little Wanderers partnership to provide support and crisis intervention, as well as supporting school-wide culture and climate.•Cover the cost of classroom supplies and equipment that our teachers and scholars need to learn, as well as provide the tools needed by our newest school partner, the 826 Boston Writer’s Room Program.•Support our partnership with the nonprofit organization Playworks, which creates opportunities for students to learn to play fairly, settle differences peacefully, and build leadership and teamwork skills.•Fund field trips to enhance curriculum and offer exciting, hands-on learning experiences.Will you make a difference? On February 19 our junior coaches attended the Junior Coach Leadership Convention at Northeastern University. The convention was an all day event for all Junior Coaches in Boston.
13 Junior Coaches went on a wonderful field trip to the Brown Brothers Harriman office in downtown Boston on February 11th. The Scholars were given a first class tour of the office. The New England Conservatory Jazz Trio performed for scholars in grades 3 and 6 on May 3rd. The trio consisted of a drum set, upright acoustic bass, and a piano. Sunday, April 7 1 – 3 pm Join us for another successful walk and guided activity for children and their families! We will explore signs of spring and revisit our favorite tress from the previous Winter Walk. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
