Welcome Back to School!

Good afternoon BTU School families,

On behalf of the Boston Teachers Union School’s faculty and community, we welcome you to the 2015-2016 school year! We hope you and your family had a healthy, safe, and fun summer. We can’t wait to welcome each of you tomorrow morning for our first day of school!

Tomorrow morning, we are also excited to welcome our new Superintendent, Dr. Tommy Chang, our Mayor, Marty Walsh, our Union President, Richard Stutman, and their teams, during their visit to our school. Together, they will help us kick off another successful school year at the BTU School!

As a reminder, our doors will open daily at 8:15am for all of our scholars, and free breakfast will be served at 8:15am. Our day of learning will start promptly at 8:30am. All scholars that arrive after 8:30am will be marked tardy.
The temperatures this week will be very high. Please make sure scholars dresses comfortably, but keep in mind that scholars are going to school and should dress appropriately. Also, remember to bring a water bottle to keep hydrated.

As always, thank you for sharing your child and family with us and believing in the work we do every day at the BTU School to help your child grow as a scholar and person. We look forward to another wonderful school year!
