Important Dates at the Arboretum

May 17, 2012:  PTC and 1st graders participate in the  ”Organism” field study

May 21, 2012:  K1 and K2 participate in “Exploring the World Around Us”  field study

May 29, 2012:  3rd graders participate in “Native Trees, Native Peoples” while 4th graders participate in “Hemlock Hill” field studies

June 5, 2012: an 8th grade class participates in “Hemlock Hill, A Changing Ecosystem” field study

Saturday, June 9:  Families of students in grades K1 through 2nd grade are invited to attend Science Saturday at the Arboretum, from 10 am – 12 noon.  On display will be children’s science work and photos from this school year.  Activities will include scavenger hunts through the landscape, art projects, plant material for close observation, a look at organisms studied in class, and more!
