Come and join parents, teachers, and scholars at the Wake Up the Earth parade and festival in JP sponsored by Spontaneous Celebrations. Let’s be there to show our school pride and to raise some money!
The Parade
The UNION SCHOOL will walk in the parade under a banner designed by the art club. We’ll meet in front of Curtis Hall (next to the JP Library on South Street) at 10:45 am. Bring noise makers or percussion instruments if you have them.
The Festival
We will run a tie-dye t-shirt making booth at the festival site (at the end of the parade), on the greenway near Stony Brook station. We need volunteers from 12:30 to 4:30 in one- or two-hour shifts. Upper school kids are encouraged to come help!
